Xtend Ai, Advance Mechanical Services ink MoU to develop healthcare service robots
Israel-based Xtend Ai and Bengaluru-based Advance Mechanical Services Pvt Ltd (AMS-India), an MSME entity, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to co-develop and manufacture service robots.
Supported by the Government of Israel and the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), the collaboration aims to enhance healthcare access, create high-skilled jobs, and strengthen India-Israel trade ties.
“This partnership between Xtend AI and AMS-India marks a significant step towards transforming Karnataka’s healthcare ecosystem through cutting-edge robotics. By leveraging technology and innovation, we are committed to enhancing healthcare accessibility, especially in underserved areas,” Priyank Kharge, Karnataka’s IT-BT Minister, said. He added that the collaboration would create high-skilled jobs and strengthen Karnataka’s position as a leader in digital health and medical robotics.
Xtend AI Inc CEO Harry Fox noted that the company’s service robots and telemedicine kiosks could help the state address gaps in healthcare services.
