As an Installation & Commissioning Engineer for Hyrel 3D Printing, you will be responsible for delivering and installing 3D printers at customer sites. You will collaborate with our sales and customer support teams to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the successful integration of our 3D printing solutions into various industrial environments.

Responsibilities:
Pre-installation Planning: Review customer requirements, site conditions, and technical specifications to prepare for the installation and commissioning process.
Installation & Setup: Travel to customer sites and perform onsite installation and setup of Hyrel 3D printers, including mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and calibration.
Software Configuration: Install and configure necessary software components for printer operation, including firmware updates and slicing software.
Testing & Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of each 3D printer to ensure accurate functionality and adherence to quality standards.
Customer Training: Provide comprehensive training to customers on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Hyrel 3D printers.
Technical Support: Offer technical support and assistance to customers during the installation process and address any inquiries or challenges that may arise.
Documentation: Prepare detailed installation reports, documentation, and user guides to aid customers in their use of the 3D printers.
Post-Installation Follow-up: Follow up with customers after installation to ensure their satisfaction and address any post-installation issues or concerns.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of installation and commissioning procedures.
Customer Feedback: Gather feedback from customers regarding their experience with the installation process and communicate relevant insights to internal teams for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in installation, setup, and commissioning of complex technical equipment, preferably 3D printers or industrial machinery.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to assemble and configure 3D printers accurately.
Knowledge of 3D printing principles, materials, and technologies is a plus.
Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for installation and troubleshooting purposes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective customer support.
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to different customer environments.
Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites for installation and support.
